General Practitioner
I am a General Practitioner at National Public Health Service (NPHS) - Northern Region.
I started GP training in 1990, practicing medicine in various regions across New Zealand before joining NPHS in 2006 to work for the Refugee Health Screening Service (RHSS). This was my main focus up until 2020, when responsibility for the RHSS was moved to another agency.
I am currently a Tuberculosis Medical Officer at NPHS, having spent most of 2020 and 2021 in the Covid-19 Response Unit.
In my role I particularly enjoy working alongside our public health nurses who provide care for people right across our community.
