A person with COVID-19 has been at Countdown Quay St on Sunday 16 August from 4.00 – 4.30pm while infectious.

Members of the public or staff who were at this store at this time are at very low risk of developing COVID-19.

This person was also at Countdown Westfield St Luke’s on Wednesday 12 August for ten minutes at around 11.15 am.

Anyone at these supermarkets are considered ‘casual contacts’ only and do not need to self-isolate. Customers or staff should still look out for symptoms of COVID-19 over the next 14 days as a precaution. If they develop symptoms they should ring Healthline on 0800 358 5453 or their GP.

The symptoms of COVID-19 are a new or worsening cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense or smell, or fever.
