Public Health Medicine Specialist
I am a public health medicine specialist working at both National Public Health Service - Northern Region and Synergia, and I'm also a fellow of the NZCPHM.
My main passion in public health is improving health outcomes for marginalised and at risk populations, and reducing inequities.
I am a qualified medical doctor with two years clinical experience and I have a masters degree specialising in health promotion as well as a masters of public health (with a first class honours).
I have a wide range of experience working in infection control, developing national guidance, stakeholder management and health service design. I also have experience working with minority ethnic groups, children and young people, homeless people and those receiving social welfare. My experience has been gained within the health and social services sectors across three different countries.
